Alicia Silverstone + Aerosmith= Inspiration

Aerosmith- Crazy

Aerosmith-Cryin

I was thinking today about some inspiration, and over the last 5 or so years i keep coming back to Two Aerosmith videos; Crazy and Cryin'. Crazy was released in 1994 and it followed Cryin' which was released in 1993.
Both videos for me are very inspirational. Strong in 90's trademarks such as the sepia tone in which they were both filmed, right down to the fashion worn by both Alicia Silverstone and Liv Tyler.  I am talking about things such as; Plaid Flannel Shirts, Denim high waisted hotpants, sleeveless denim shirts, black and brown ankle boots, floral tea dresses, crop tops and jumpers, sleeveless check shirts, Doc Martens.... Yep that sounds like my wardrobe.

EDIT: I decided to change the name of my blog becasue if this inspiration.

The City Of Light

How many times have i gone into work, expecting it to be a perfectly normal day and come out the end of it, planning a trip to Paris? Well actually this is the first time, and now my head is exploding with ideas, and I am eager to get booking and shopping, and planning outfits. Even though its not happening until May, and I have another holiday before then. I have a bit of an obsession problem with Paris. Some of my favourite films like The Dreamers are set in Paris and therefore spoken in a mixture of French and English. I think of, almost daily in fact, of when i shall return to the streets of Paris. I haven't been for a year almost. It Seems like such a long time ago. It was my first time in the city and I can tell you I have been itching to get back. It is a bit of a shame that I have such few photos of my visit to Paris last year, at risk of seeming too much like a tourist. I will take photos this time and I'll be posting my outfits when i get back. Look at me, jumping ahead. I haven't even booked the thing yet. I think one day I would Love to live there. But for now I shall leave you with the pieces of Paris that I love and French things that inspire me.....

Something silly I put together on Polyvore, when I was bored.

Rock n Roll Gypsy

I have been craving a wardrobe (and the ability to pull it off) like the Pucci Spring Summer collection ever since i first saw it.

This collection is so elegant and sexy. The shaping and detailing are so beautiful. The prints are very fresh and completely add to each piece and the over all collection. And as always i love the tasseling. The collection ballances short and tight and long and floaty to show that both can look as sexy and enticing as the other, while keeping strong traces of the "rock n roll" trend. Its a shame i have no where to were the long evening type dress, but i would love some of the daytime ones. It is deffinitely one of my favourite collections of the season and i cannot wait to see what Pucci has up its sleeve for A/W 11.

p.s. The eBay t-shirt i won that i posted about here, finally arrived. I cannot wait to wear it.
