ASOS is a whole bunch of Trouble....New Shoes

Woke up this moring to two box shaped parcels just waiting to be torn open. Only one guess as to what was inside.

First pair; Grey TROUBLE lace up platform boots from ASOS. They went on sale, which made me really happy. The second pair I got of ebay and they were completely brand new with the stickers on the soles. Not bad paying £16 for a new £60 pair of shoes. Plus they both go along with the wanting of bright coloured shoes that I wrote about in this post.

I hope my shoes stay as bright as the weather, or vice versa.

New wins and New Buys

Been a bit of a busy week and I have been buying more than I should have been. Some of it i went out and bought some of it I have been winning on ebay. I tried not to go on ebay, but I gave in in the end. The Leopard jumper below I found on ebay and I decided aginst bidding on it. In the end it wnt for about £30. So when I went into Topshop yesterday and walked past the sale rack i noticed it sticking out like a sore thumb with an £18 price tag on it. It maybe a size too big but it's a good oversized and  sits wonderfully with a pair of high waisted shorts.

This floral blouse I order from the Topshop website without trying it on first. Its a loose fit but it looks good, I was worried i would have to return it. But after its delivery I tried it on and it's a keeper!!

This is also Topshop and I picked it up and tried it on just for fun, thinking that it wouldn't suit me. However i loved it and had to buy it. Despite the flowing piece of material over the front it is a really flattering shape. Such a cute summer dress.

I love this black maxi dress. It has studs up the straps. I think I'll probably end up living in it.

Ok, so now onto some ebay wins. I'm loving this Topshop blue sequined Trophy jacket. It is in great condition. I can see this going with alot of my clothes.

And this Kate Moss for Topshop black bird print dress is one my all time favourite pieces that were sold in any of her ranges. I did the very foolish thing of not going with my instincts and buying it when it came out but, on the other hand I did with it for around £20.

So with other buys and ebay wins on their way to me as I type, I am getting excited and can't wait to share them!!

Bright Shoes

I have a great deal many pairs of black shoes and boots. But just recently I have been craving brightly coloured heels and wedges. In all shapes, styles and shades. I have a strong feeling that this may partly have something to do with the arrival of a pair of suede calf high office boots with gold soles that arrived on my door step a while go.

Meadham Kirchoff for Topshop Spring 2011

Its Spring finally and that means Topshop has another gorgeous offering from their collaboration with Meadham Kirchoff. Full of acid brights and floral prints on light chiffon materials, the dishevelled and fraying elements add a harder edge, creating the chemisty that we have come to know and love from the label. For me the collaboration with designers Edward Meadham and Benjamin Kirchoff has always been one of the most exciting tht Topshop produce.

From last years collection which included mainly navy, black and nude shades, with heavy detaillng in raw edges and sequins, this collection brings more of the same, less sequins and a new colour pallet which kicks the collection straight into Spring/Summer 2011. Come Autumn it will still be a highly wearable collection just by altering nail colour and updating with winter accessories.

But for now lets focus on the sunshine. These pieces are very versatile and will sit just as nicely with brougues as they will being paired with those chuncky skyskraper wedges. Also tempting to pile on the rings and bangles.

Also sitting in amoungst the florals there are a few pieces that turn the collection on its head with a sudden jolt, with black over the knee socks with a skelenton pattern up the front, perfect for those slightly chilly spring evenings. Finally there is the leopard in the shape of basic tops and thick tights.

Hope you're enjoying the sunshine!!

True Blood

I haven't blogged in a while probably because I was way to busy with a Tue Blood box set. I was also really happy to find this clip on youtube from last years Saint Augustine Academy fashion show at Australian fashion week, which was heavily inspired by the tv show.

And now that series three has finished I can't wait for series four, so despite the sun finally making decent appearances, I kind of want to dress like a vampire.

Sookie and Bill. The Merlotte's White t-shirt and black shorts.

True Blood Vampire Mouth. Red Lipstick and Fangs.

Sookie. Nude fitted dress. Maybe with some shoes though?

Bill Compton. Vampire Bill. The eyes make me melt.

And the Voice!

Jessica. Black Lace, studded choker and pig tails.

Pam. Black and red PVC.Blonde curls.Great eyeliner.

Mary Ann. Maxi Dresses, Chunky Necklaces, Cuffs, Stone rings.

Lorena. Very elegant. As we see her in various eras her fashion changes. Lots of long dresses, silk, Quality fabrics, strong colours; Emeralds and rich purples.

I really would like a grey Bon Temps Football t-shirt that Sookie and Jason always seem to be wearing.

So I am out for a little bit of True Blood shopping

Merlotte's white t-shirt from the official true blood shop/ HBO.
And a couple of bits from good old Topshop...
