Meadham Kirchoff for Topshop Spring 2011

Its Spring finally and that means Topshop has another gorgeous offering from their collaboration with Meadham Kirchoff. Full of acid brights and floral prints on light chiffon materials, the dishevelled and fraying elements add a harder edge, creating the chemisty that we have come to know and love from the label. For me the collaboration with designers Edward Meadham and Benjamin Kirchoff has always been one of the most exciting tht Topshop produce.

From last years collection which included mainly navy, black and nude shades, with heavy detaillng in raw edges and sequins, this collection brings more of the same, less sequins and a new colour pallet which kicks the collection straight into Spring/Summer 2011. Come Autumn it will still be a highly wearable collection just by altering nail colour and updating with winter accessories.

But for now lets focus on the sunshine. These pieces are very versatile and will sit just as nicely with brougues as they will being paired with those chuncky skyskraper wedges. Also tempting to pile on the rings and bangles.

Also sitting in amoungst the florals there are a few pieces that turn the collection on its head with a sudden jolt, with black over the knee socks with a skelenton pattern up the front, perfect for those slightly chilly spring evenings. Finally there is the leopard in the shape of basic tops and thick tights.
