Oooh it's a FESTIVAL

I woke up this morning from a fairly disturbing dream where I was leaving for a festival to realise that me an my friend had no money, no food, no idea what clothes we had packed because our mums packed them for us (why in the hell!!??), was seriously running late for our train, no alcohol and ciggarettes, no wellies, AND NO TENT!!!! So not surprisingly I have my festival going bug back and it's time to search for a new tent. Instead however I find myself looking for the things that make the weeked go slightly mad. I am talking about brightly coloured fethers (I had so many tied in my hair last year), false eyelashes, and most imporantly and ANIMAL HOOD!!! I discovered MERRIMAKING at last years Secret Garden Party and created a sizeable list of animals that I wanted to wear on my head. Leopard, Tiger (even thought i bought a tiger one for a friends birthday present and then immediately borrowed for my own head), snow fox, red panda, giraffe, monkey, a deer (with antlers and all) and a Parrot.

You can't really tell what it looks like, it's a dark photo with an instagram effect on it. But go and have a look at last years photos.

Now, I'm off to actually look for a tent, that dream scared the crap out me!!!

Plant Pot Polish

As my obsession with Nail polish grows, so does my collection. At the moment I am in love with Rimmel London's Lycra Pro Professional Finish range. It comes in so many colours(they bring out new ones every so often I feel the need to keep up) and it has a wide brush, for quick, easy, mess free nail painting. I always find myself bying these in batches of three because boots always seem to have a 3 for 2 offer on Rimmel products and I can never resist.

New wins and New Buys

Been a bit of a busy week and I have been buying more than I should have been. Some of it i went out and bought some of it I have been winning on ebay. I tried not to go on ebay, but I gave in in the end. The Leopard jumper below I found on ebay and I decided aginst bidding on it. In the end it wnt for about £30. So when I went into Topshop yesterday and walked past the sale rack i noticed it sticking out like a sore thumb with an £18 price tag on it. It maybe a size too big but it's a good oversized and  sits wonderfully with a pair of high waisted shorts.

This floral blouse I order from the Topshop website without trying it on first. Its a loose fit but it looks good, I was worried i would have to return it. But after its delivery I tried it on and it's a keeper!!



This is also Topshop and I picked it up and tried it on just for fun, thinking that it wouldn't suit me. However i loved it and had to buy it. Despite the flowing piece of material over the front it is a really flattering shape. Such a cute summer dress.

I love this black maxi dress. It has studs up the straps. I think I'll probably end up living in it.



Ok, so now onto some ebay wins. I'm loving this Topshop blue sequined Trophy jacket. It is in great condition. I can see this going with alot of my clothes.

And this Kate Moss for Topshop black bird print dress is one my all time favourite pieces that were sold in any of her ranges. I did the very foolish thing of not going with my instincts and buying it when it came out but, on the other hand I did with it for around £20.





So with other buys and ebay wins on their way to me as I type, I am getting excited and can't wait to share them!!

Australia Hit! /Summer Inspiration II

I thought I would share with you some photos that are inspiring me at the moment. I really want to do some travelling and I have been thinking for a while about Australia and the USA. Australia first though I think...

Its going to take a while to save up for those (especially with all the clothes and shoes I keep buying). But I am determined to get there. For now though, I'll leave you with some images that are making me want to go away again, or for the summer to hurry up and arrive at least!

A new year, and this is my blog.
