Sweet Vintage/ Denver Broncos/ Harley Davidson/ Boston Red Sox

I am in Love with my new vintage t-shirt finds. Adding two to the collection of Harley Davidson tops that I already own. Both of which are really oversized and I will be customising.

This t-shirt is a vintage Boston Red sox t-shirt. It has Ortiz's name and number on the back and I fell in love with it when I saw it on ebay.

This has become one of my favourite t-shirts ever. It is a vintage NFL Denver Brocos T-shirt. I found it on the off chance while brousing through the mens vintage section in topman the other day. I saw Thunder the horse (their mascot/logo) in the bottom corner, and almost fell over backwards and shrieked a little when I saw it. Naturally I HAD to have it. It really makes me miss NFL Football season.

You can never have too many vintage t's!

New wins and New Buys

Been a bit of a busy week and I have been buying more than I should have been. Some of it i went out and bought some of it I have been winning on ebay. I tried not to go on ebay, but I gave in in the end. The Leopard jumper below I found on ebay and I decided aginst bidding on it. In the end it wnt for about £30. So when I went into Topshop yesterday and walked past the sale rack i noticed it sticking out like a sore thumb with an £18 price tag on it. It maybe a size too big but it's a good oversized and  sits wonderfully with a pair of high waisted shorts.

This floral blouse I order from the Topshop website without trying it on first. Its a loose fit but it looks good, I was worried i would have to return it. But after its delivery I tried it on and it's a keeper!!

This is also Topshop and I picked it up and tried it on just for fun, thinking that it wouldn't suit me. However i loved it and had to buy it. Despite the flowing piece of material over the front it is a really flattering shape. Such a cute summer dress.

I love this black maxi dress. It has studs up the straps. I think I'll probably end up living in it.

Ok, so now onto some ebay wins. I'm loving this Topshop blue sequined Trophy jacket. It is in great condition. I can see this going with alot of my clothes.

And this Kate Moss for Topshop black bird print dress is one my all time favourite pieces that were sold in any of her ranges. I did the very foolish thing of not going with my instincts and buying it when it came out but, on the other hand I did with it for around £20.

So with other buys and ebay wins on their way to me as I type, I am getting excited and can't wait to share them!!

Holiday/eBay/ Parcels

I am going on holiday tomorrow and was hoping some of my recently bought eBay stuff would arrive in time before I go, especially the black Topshop Boutique shoes I posted about in the last post. So I was very happy when THREE parcels arrived for me today.

And here are my gorgeous shoes. I hope they fit in the case after everything else that I have already crammed in there!
Please excuse the dodgy Blackberry photo of me wearing them.

Say hi to my new tan gladstone bag. Its not a big one which is nice. I fell in love with it. So cute!! Taking this on holiday as well.

And lastly these are my new jeans which I am going to cut the legs off of to make into shorts. They are made by Burberry so I feel a little weird customising them but the fit is great.

I shall let you know how I get on customising these.

So there we have it another pair of shoes in the collection, another bag to add to the family, and anothere pair of shorts to increase the amount of how many I already have.

Its not expensive at all is it? Well I suppose it all adds up.

You really don't help

Have you ever done something, or carried on doing something that you knew you really shouldn't. Not for anyone else's benefit, but purely for your own? Like having one more biscuit from the jar when you've already had too many, or kept pressing the snooze button when you know it will make you late for work? Today I experienced this in the form of shoe shopping. Yes I've touched on this before. I had things to do today dammit, but instead I declared myself bored and if you've read this blog you will undoubtedly know that my first stop when borem kicks in is my frienemy, eBay.

I know I shouldn't have gone on there. I knew it would end in tears. Tears of equal parts joy and sadness as I realise that madness has kicked in. I succeeded in buying not one but two pairs of shoes, in the space of 2 hours. This cannot be healthy and surely cannot continue. I'm skint....SKINT!! Skint before the shoe purchases. Even worse after the shoe purchases. Do you think they have psychologists for this type of thing? I've seen confessions of a shopaholic. This won't end well!

But on the upside it was very smart shoe buying, both incredible bargains, which as everyone knows always takes the sting out of it.

First pair.... They are from Office and have been worn once. When they were first instore they were £80, and to my horror couldn't find a size 6 anywhere for the life of me, when they went into sale. So when I found them on ebay with 2 days left and the bid count quite high, I was so happy to see that the seller had put a Buy it now price up at £30. I wasn't going to let them get away not after what happened to the red ponyskin ones. Meet Pair ONE!

Second pair..... Black Topshop Boutique heels with ankle cuff. Again worn only the once and when they came into Topshop they too were £80. When I typed Topshop shoes into ebay I found a few pairs before I reached these. Sadly they were all either too big or too small. So you can imagine my excitement when I came across these. With no size in the title box my fingers were crossed when I opened the page. Size 6! YES! That made me very happy. I had no hesitation whatsoever getting these. The seller had only put up a Buy It Now price at £20!!! Yep £20. My jaw dropped. Oh well they are mine now and i will enjoy my shoes. Say hello to Pair TWO.....

I knew I loved shoes, what will I do next?? Probably go straight back on ebay. It's not good. Friends are telling me to stop but I weirdly enough have never had the nagging voice in the back of my head telling me to control the shoe buying even though I know that I will have to.

So today is the day that I officially diagnosed myself with Shoe Addiction. Strangely it feels rather good.

Pics taken by the each pairs respective ebay sellers, both of whom I am extremely thankful that they put those gorgeous shoes on ebay in the first place.

Newbies/Rail

When you have a problem with space in your wardorbe what do you do?
In my case I have two wardrobes, plus one thinner wardrobe of just shelves for shoe boxes. After gradually loosing all space in al of the wardobes, I came to a little dilema. The first; no more space for shoes (this is not good), at first I was piling the offending boxes up at the end of my bed. Problem solved. Then there became no more space for clothes any more, and without the space for a possible third wardrobe in my room how was I going to stop the problem of clothes hanging on the outside of the wardrobes? I decided it would be a good idea to buy a rail. They are cheap, and you can put alot on them. Second problem solved. It now stands at the end of my bed, gathering clothes like a surface gathers dust. I am very happy with it, and the fact that it has a place for shoe boxes at the bottom, makes it 10 times better.

On another note ive been buying alot more vintage lately so I'll show you whats taking up the new rail space. Firstly eBay finds....
I woke up to a pile of packages the other day.

Urban Outfitters Renewal Blue Sparkly  Velvet bodycon dress...

Vintage Deep Red velvet bodycon dress.....

I found these Topshop 'Strike' shoes in my size on ebay. They had only been worn for  few hours.....

Vintage Purple plaid jacket. I am in love with this. Its so comfortable and just goes with everything....

Vintage Leopard Print shirt dress.... It cost me £2.99.

These Vintage Cutoff Levi's look light grey in the photo but they are more washed out purple. I love the deep pockets on Vintage Levi's.

Ok, now there is a bit of a story to these shoes. They are red ponyskin and are from River Island and when I saw them on ebay I fell in love and had to have them. When it came time to bidding on them I was at work and had to bid on my blackberry which was being so slow. So unfortunately I didnt get them. About 4 days later I got a message from the ebay seller saying that the winninng bidder hadn't paid for them and she was wondering if I would still be interested in buying them. I was over the moon to say the least. So now they take pride of place in my ever growing shoe collection. They are very comfortable and so easy to walk in.

Now onto Camden vintage finds. I bought this black velvet jacket for £5.

This Def Leppard t-shirt is a mens XXL. I cut the sleeve holes larger when i took the sleeves off.

I got this red plaid shirt and I have been living in it, throwing it on over everything. Its cropped and missing a button but love it anyway.

And lastly a silly picture of my new round sunglasses that I bought in Camden for £5.

I can see the rail filling up fast. Don't know what to do when I run out of space after this. Maybe a walk in wardrobe? That would be nice.

p.s. please excuse the photography. My camera is on the blink. I might need a new one.
